Key Stage 2 were lucky enough to enjoy some live music during the morning from two teachers, employed by Hampshire Music Service. They brought a variety of woodwind and brass instruments.
Did you know that the lowest brass instrument is the tuba? They couldn't bring that in today (it would have taken up all the boot of her car!) but we did see her play a trombone, trumpet and french horn.
The woodwind instruments were a clarinet, flute and saxophone. Most of us weren't sure which instruments we had heard before; when they played film theme tunes, such as Jurassic Park, Indianna Jones and 'Be my guest' from Beauty and the Beast, we immediately knew we had heard lots of the different instruments!
