Our trip to Stubbington!

We had lots of fun by the seaside, fossicking, collecting for our rock pools and creating sand sculptures.  We then did some pond dipping and caught some new friends before we went into the woods to build dens.  Suddenly storm Stuttaford crept up on us and some of us got a bit wet!!!

Well done for your great behaviour Year 4 you made the adults proud :)

French day! To finish our topic 'Is France a better place to live?' We enjoyed our visiting speaker, research on the ipads and baking French bread

We went on a walk around our local area following a map looking for different geographical features.

Year 4 have been learning about collage in relation to the work of Henri Matisse. We then looked at the work of the two environmental artists Andy Goldsworthy and Richard Long before making our own outdoor nature installations with natural resources we had gathered over the last few weeks. We will go back to look at the art work and see how nature has impacted it over time.

Spellings

Choose 8 spellings from the year 4 word lists each week to focus on and keep revisiting them through the week.  Add ones your child gets wrong to the next week's spellings.
