Exciting events at our school

We have new ovens in our school kitchen! Thank you Jackie and the team for cooking our luches everyday.

We met the Apostolic Nuncio at St John's Cathedral in Portsmouth

We visited Goodwood Farm to learn some new farm vocabulary.

We enjoyed a performance of Alice in Wonderland in school.

We enjoyed an outdoor learning day this week. We love learning outside in our grounds.

Look at our New Play Equipment!

We are very excited to announce that we have a new climbing frame. The children have had so much fun playing on it and have been learning to climb and balance on all the different parts.

St Swithun Wells Catholic Primary School is 50 Years old!

At St Swithun Wells we celebrated our 50th Birthday and took part in many special events to mark this historical occasion!  Some of which included:

  • All classes took part in a cake making and decoration competition.
  • Mr. Dunne dug up the time capsule which was buried at the millennium, we explored what had been buried in the capsule and then we shared our findings live on Radio Solent! The link is below.
  • Children took part in lots of party games and events in their classrooms.
  • We took a whole school photo of the children and staff with our special cake.
  • We had a school party after school which all the parish, staff - past and present, were invited too.  We had a magician, a musician, a BBQ, a cake stall and a sweet stall among others!

Here are some photos of the day, if you have any photos please do send them into the office as we would love to share them on our website!
