Welcome to the St Swithun Wells PTFA.
The School PTA has been in existence since the school opened in 1972 and all parents, teachers and governors are automatically members of the PTFA.
The aim of the PTFA is to organise fun events for the school community while raising much-needed & vital funds to help support the learning of the children.
A variety of different events take place including school discos, a Christmas Fayre, and a summer Fayre among others.
In recent years PTFA funds have been used to buy classroom resources such as dictionaries, outdoor sails to provide shade to the playground as well as cooking facilities for the children which is known as ‘Clark’s Kitchen’.
This year will be somewhat different due to the rules around Covid-19 but we will still aim to fundraise in a safe way. If you have any ideas that could help support us please let us know. The voluntary support provided by both parents and teachers is the lifeblood of the PTA so any support you can give, no matter how big or small, is gratefully received.
